Job Opportunity at 1Nebula:

The purpose of this position is to spearhead our client growth initiatives in Johannesburg and surrounds.
The ideal candidate will need to have a robust background in business development, particularly in the
SaaS & Managed Services industries, and a deep understanding of Cloud, mobile & IT expenses. 


What You will do within this role (Your key responsibilities):

Business Development

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive client acquisition and revenue growth

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and understand industry trends 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients

  • Lead the sales team to achieve sales targets and business objectives

  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships

  • Manage the sales pipeline

  • Work closely with the marketing, product, and engineering teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals

  • Lead negotiations and close deals with key clients

  • Develop and monitor KPIs to measure the success of business development initiatives and make data-driven decisions

  • Represent 1Nebula at industry events and conferences, showcasing our expertise and building the company’s brand

Account Management

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive growth and achieve revenue targets

  • Establish and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders

  • Retain existing accounts and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling

  • Gather and analyse customer feedback and insights

  • Work closely with clients to understand their unique requirements and collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized solutions

  • Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, and compliance for key accounts, ensuring mutual satisfaction and adherence to terms

  • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively

  • Report on account performance and metrics, to inform strategic decisions

  • Partner with the sales team to develop and execute account-specific sales strategies, leveraging cross-functional expertise

  • Advocate for the needs and interests of key accounts within the company, ensuring their feedback is considered in product development and service delivery

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

  • Min of 5 years in business development, with at least 3 years in a senior role within the enterprise industry

  • Cloud, Mobile, Voice & IT Expense Management Expertise

  • Proven success in driving business growth and achieving sales targets

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities

  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • High level of commitment and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively 

  • High degree of decision making ability and be service orientated
