This implementation was part of a broader IT-led digital transformation initiative aimed at improving financial controls and visibility to complex mutli-vendor IT landscape.

Pick n Pay’s IT finance team was drowning in manual processes. To manage its complex, multi-vendor IT environment, they manually entered every line item from invoices into their ERP system to allocate costs to the right departments.

The result?

As South Africa’s largest supermarket chain, this inefficiency created high risk and high cost.
