Job Opportunity at 1Nebula:

We are seeking a dedicated junior to join our Cloud FinOps team. As part of the team, you will be exposed to
engineering and finance teams that drive cloud costs analysis & optimizations. 


What You will do within this role (Your key responsibilities):

  • Offer Business Support and Analysis to drive client engagements

  • Conduct investigations, gather and normalize data, analyse trends and results 

  • Compile and present reports 
  • Investigate and upskill on cloud concepts 

  • Conduct investigations into customer’s cloud environments to identify areas of financial optimization 

  • Share knowledge with the greater Nebula team 

  • Document processes and methodologies 

  • Prepare and present findings 

  • Maintain an updated client Baseline
     
  • Attend weekly client and service provider engagements and ensure adhoc requests are attended to in a timely manner 

  • Provide assistance to Nebula’s FinOps team as required 

  • Understand and create new PowerBI dashboards, maintenance of existing dashboards and reports

  • Bachelor’s degree (Information Systems or Finance) 

  • Previous work experience dealing with clients (Beneficial) 

  • A strong interest in FinOps and a willingness to learn and grow 

  • A keen interest in analytics or cloud technology demonstrated through self-study or previous certifications 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Creative problem-solving skills 

  • Strong self-management skills 

  • Strong Microsoft Excel experience 

  • Strong decision-making ability 

  • Meticulous attention to detail 

  • Excellent analytical skills  

  • PowerBI experience  

  • Good understanding of large-scale data & reporting 

  • Exposure to a development team and good prioritization skills
